wow, she's such a mysterious character. i was looking through your gallery and you have much more on the dudes in your story and not much about jesse! and no colored pics either... lol.

i wanna know more about her! what's she like? like what's her personality like? she seemed like a tomboy in the other sketches but in this one she seems so elegant and lady like. what kinda clothes does seh wear? LOL i wanna know more abt her.

Thanks for the comment! You're right, I don't have much up to do with Jesse. That might be because she's the character who's design I'm most shaky on- the guys are much more set in stone I guess.

This picture was drawn after I decided that Jesse should have long hair- originally, in what I think is the only picture I have up over her, her hair was short. Jesse isn't incredibly tomboyish- she has her moments, but I wouldn't call her an incredibly girly girl either.

She tends to stay away from dresses and skirts, more likely to wear jeans and baby-t's or sweaters.

I'll have to see about doing a colored picture of her soon... hm. I hope that answered some of your questions, feel free to ask more if you have them! Again, thank you for commenting!

oh thank-you for replying! haha it's just that i'm so intrigued. her ability is so unique compared to all the other original characters i've seen. she sounds VERY powerful. does she have like an ultimate form or anything? or fantasy clothes she'd wear if she were in full power?

and what do her powers look like when she uses them? can you tell at all? and whats the most defining part of her? cos i noticed with devi that his eyes are really strikingly red, and he has a very distinct look. red & black and stuff. does jesse have distinct colours to go by?

No problem! And I'm flattered that you think so!

She doesn't really have a final form, so to speak; and as for powerful, her ability is extremely powerful in the ways that it could be used in the right hands, and very threatening to the magical species in hiding. If one group- whether it be a group of vampire hunters, or hunters of any species, or just a species clan in general- she could be used in the finding, locating, and in that way the annihilation of enter cultures.

Fantasy type clothes, probably yes, once her power is fully realized. For most of the story she doesn't realize the full extent of it; it comes to her like breathing, naturally. As for later on when she learns to extend her power and take it to the next level... its kind of hard to describe.

With her power as it is through most of the story you can't tell a difference; as I said, it's as natural to her as breathing. Although when around a lot of it- such as if she were to be surrounded by a group of vampires, or somesuch, it does sap her energy.

Colors- as I said, her design isn't as solid or worked out as Max or Devi's, but I tend to think greens and teal when it comes to her; I haven't quite decided if that would go well with her bright blue eyes at all, though- probably blues and greens, and mixtures of the two colors. I really need to do a color picture of her

(sorry this took so long, translating how I think of these things in my head and converting them as true to the original concept into type as I can is a bit difficult for me sometimes ^^ )

haha, no problem. this is fascinating! i wish you could translate all of this into a picture of her! she looks so unassuming in your sketches. i'm very curious as to what the 'next level' of her powers will be! i can almost imagine her some flowy fantasy gown of teals, blues and greens.
